Catherine Finishes her First Half Marathon in Fantastic Time
Mega huge congratulations to Catherine Howland for finishing her very first half marathon in the super time of 2 hours and 9 minutes. We think her time was actualy better than this as there was a bit of the usual delay/shuffling/argy bargy at the start.
Catherine initialy came to us for a teeny bit of weight loss and toning 18 months ago, and has taken to the personal training sessions like a natural. Being the competitive type she loves the boxercise sessions, and can now do a karate kick like a mule. Her bottom is now much smaller too.
"Catherine has done really well" says her personal trainer and training director at DDW Adam Atkinson. "she did all her training runs even running on the treadmill at work in her lunch break when needs arose. I'm glad that all that uphill interval work over the M4 flyover we did togther in the dark and cold has really paid off, it's a super time and under the target that I set for her. Despite the mild delerium, stopping to connive ibuprofen from the St. John's ambulance crew and foot pain she proved that she really is a trooper.
Thanks also to Catherine for sticking with us; she confessed to having a credit crunch expenditure review and decided that the personal training sessions were indespensible!"

Huge congratulations to Wendy Barton for finishing The Benidorm marathon right on her target of 5 hours and 20 minutes. Despite having to run at the rear of a field made up of hard core runners, the only beginner in the race received a huge trophy for her efforts. A big well done also goes to Betty, our oldest client (84) for losing 4.5 pounds in her first 5 weeks of training.
