Golf is a physical sport. It combines rotation, explosive anaerobic power, complex muscle contractions, timing, flexibility and endurance. Studies show the high number of complex movements required for an effective swing, as well as the difference between the swing movement of a high level player versus an amateur.  It makes sense then to get fit for golf, getting the complex chain of muscles needed for an effective drive working properly together  – the fitter you are, the better you will play. 

In today’s highly competitive environment, golf specific strength and conditioning exercises and golf fitness are used by every player on tour. Your dedicated Diets Don’t Work personal trainer will give you many of the same fitness and exercise routines used by these touring professionals, but tailored specially to your own base level and current abilities. As with any personal training program we will start from a level that is comfortable but challenging, then progress you from there.

Add yards to your drive, improve directional control and maintain all important flexibility through your sessions. Out PTs are well educated professionals who have a full understanding of the different energy systems used in golf and how to get them all working properly. They will come to your home for your sessions or, if you prefer, to your local golf course where allowed, bringing all necessary equipment with them.

Blocks of six or more sessions or our fit for golf packages include nutritional assessment and strategy, ensuring you are eating properly for optimal health, fitness and energy. Combined with proper pre match nutrition you will feel fresh and alert even on the back 9.
